Dr. Stein is a resident in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery in the bi-campus program at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University and Weill Cornell. His research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and health outcomes, with more than twenty peer-reviewed publications to date.
Originally from Brooklyn, Dr. Stein graduated summa cum laude from Queens College with a degree in Economics and election to Phi Beta Kappa. He worked as a healthcare consultant in New York before attending the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he earned his MD Cum Laude in Scientia Experimentali and the Harold J. Pelzer, MD Medical Student Award for outstanding achievement in Otolaryngology.
Outside the hospital, he lives in New York with his wife and two children, and is an avid cyclist and backpacker — thirty-eight countries and counting.
